DETROIT BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT/SPRAY MIGRATION

IF YOU DON'T KNOW PLEASE GET HIP. All you Michigan (and everyone else that has a brain) natives know the D is in a dire position, especially with recent budget cuts that have eliminated majority of the police force and educational staff. With that said, and I quote, DETROIT IS ON THE RISE. In the past couple years Detroit has been going through what is known as the Detroit Beautification Project, in which urban framers and artist have taken over unused and abused land and turned it into something beautiful. 

I've been saying this for months, but my dreams/thoughts have finally come true. Non-local graffiti artist are starting to finally realize that Detroit is the new epicenter for graffiti. International artist such as Ces, Revok, Steel, Nekst Reyes, Sever, Knows, Smash, Risk, Omens, Klor and Shank  (to name a few) have all left their art around the D in the past few weeks. With this recent graffiti migration occurring, we will only be lucky if we are left with the mark of Banksy, Space Invader, Sevnth, or even MBW. All I'm saying is if your complaining about not having anything to do this summer...go explore our beautiful city and see what it has to offer.

*Disclaimer* If you do decide to listen to me and wonder down to the D... lol please know few things, it's like the wild west down where you'll find these art pieces...so definitely know where your at...GPS if needed... don't run out of gas... and lol dont worry about the cops because the small amount of them are actually dealing with real sh*t (being that there are limited police enforcement that means be even more careful..don't be dumb.. because the only people that will be looking for you when you go missing are your mommy and daddy.)

With only a couple of days left until the release of the highly anticipated debut project from Pato Margetic, it's only right that we present you with a leak to give you all a taste of what's to come, right? After months of hard work and music making, The Pato Collection  is all done and ready for listening when it drops this Friday.  "Broken Dreams" is a little treat to hold you all over until the album is released, so definitely make sure you give it a listen; I'm sure you'll love it!

The homie Drew32 is back with another mixtape for the masses! For Label Me,  the Detroit artist shows his versatility with a solid mixture of cuts for you to enjoy.  With most of the production coming from himself (14 out of 19 tracks) and significant features from the likes of Jon Connor, Slim The Mobster, FowL, Shorty Da Prince and more, this tape is something that you're going to want to take a listen to.

Anybody on the come-up gets compared to other artists, put in a box, and labeled. It's the only way a listener can understand what they are hearing - to have something to compare it to - or label it as. These labels can be good or bad, or plain outrageous. Drew32 aims to destroy all those labels. As DJ Skee says, "The mixtape may be called 'Label Me', but ya'll can't label us!"

MMG PERFORMS LIVE IN PONTIAC, MI

If you were like me and missed out on the MMG concert in Pontiac, MI this past Friday, then not to worry.  The trio of Rick Ross, Meek Mill and Wale rocked the stage and performed a handful of tracks for the people in attendance.  No, this wasn't in Detroit.  This took place in Pontiac for those who are getting it confused...such as Ross.  Not the best footage, but this is all until somebody else brings us something better.  Enjoy this footage for now.
