VIDEO: BIG BOI - THE CROWN LIFE, EUROPE (DOCUMENTARY)

In celebration of Crown Royal Black’s partnership with Big Boi, cameras went behind the scenes to document Big Boi during his tour in Europe to capture moments of his life and career that showcase his definition of “The Crown Life.” The short film lets audiences into Big Boi’s life as he performed at Glastonbury in England and at Hove Festival in Norway, as well as a day off in Budapest, Hungary.

Wow, This track was a surprise man. The beat was dope to me, The video was simple but dope. Everyone came on the track held they own, but in the end Big Boi set this one on fire, with Lupe not too far behind man. Honestly, I'd say nice bars from every artist. Oh, and Trae stop whispering bro geez.

Trae the Truth gives us "I'm On" as we await his upcoming album Street King  which drops July 12th.  The features on this track are dope.  They all did their thing on this one.

In celebration of Crown Royal Black’s partnership with Big Boi, cameras went behind the scenes to document Big Boi in compelling moments of his life and career that showcase his definition of “The Crown Life.” The short film lets audiences into Big Boi’s life as he performed during the 2011 Grammy Awards weekend; inside his studio, Stankonia, as he prepares for his latest projects; and an evening out on the town in his hometown of Atlanta with stops at his favorite spots to unwind.

With T.I. checking himself back into the pen yesterday, it was only right that Big Boi dropped him from the official 'Tangerine' remix and throw on Fabolous instead.  I must say, it is a better verse...sorry Tip.

Originally heard on Big Boi's Sir Lucious Left Foot album that dropped this summer.  None of the verses are switched up, just additionals from Rick Ross and Bun B to make it a remix. The beat is ill and it catches my ears every time when I'm skipping throught the shuffle.

This was heard sometime around the beginning of the Summer, but this is a finalized version that sounds a lot better.  And there's even additional bars from Big Boi and Andre 3000, so it's an automatic winner.  I'm liking this track a lot, and I hope to hear something new from 3 Stacks soon.

Big Boi and and the talented lyricist Yelawolf get together and shoot this video from General Patton's Sir Lucious Left Foot: Son Of Chico Dusty album.  Out in stores now, so grab it if you haven't.

ALBUM REVIEW: BIG BOI - SIR LUCIOUS LEFT FOOT (THE SON OF CHICO DUSTY)

For Big Boi fans, it has been a long time coming for Sir Lucious Left Foot and the Son of Chico Dusty (and this review, ha!) but in my opinion it was worth the wait. As expected Big Boi goes lyrically crazy over the whole cd but I just don’t agree with some of the beats he choose to use...then again, it’s not my album. However a good portion of the production was good and includes some bangers like 'General Patton'. 'Shutterbug', the albums first single also brings producer Scott Storch back in the spotlight (who even remembers his last hit song?).

The one thing Big Boi is a genius at is effectively using his features. The R & B song 'Hustle Blood' uses Jamie Foxx in a great way and he even has a song with Gucci (never thought the two would pair up but hey) and it turned out to be a pretty good collab. The CD itself is stock piled with more Atlanta artists then just Gucci, as T.I. and B.o.B. are also featured on the album.

Overall my favorite songs would have to be 'Shutterbug', 'Night Night' w/ B.o.B. and 'For Yo Sorrows'; all of which show Big Boi is still one of the greats in the rap game. 


Overall, I give this album a B+...so go out and BUY this!

BIG BOI 'SIR LUCIOUS LEFT FOOT' GOODWOOD PACK

In honor of his new album, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty, Big Boi took the opportunity to release a special package with the album.  The package contains the new CD, a DVD and a limited edition Goodwood chain Big Boi chain.  There are only 400 chains available, so you'll have to grab yours as soon as the album drops, which will be tomorrow, July 6th.


There's also a white vinyl set, which is also pretty dope.  Cop the album tomorrow; it'll be epic. Hit up Big Boi's store for interest...

Let's start the day off with new music video from Big Boi off of his album, Sir Lucious Left Foot: Son Of Chico Dusty.  Direction under Zach Wolfe and features Big Rube.  The album will be dropping this Tuesday, so make that move this week to grab it.
