Akron Ohio's own native son, Matic Touch. A 24 year old maelstrom of diversified lyrics and song writing creative collective, human being. Motivated by life and its trials and tribulations. Nothing more, nothing less. Patience, a distinct virtue of the kid hailing from Akron, Ohio. Primarily, I was raised most of my life as an only child with a single mother. I wasn't really shy, although some would beg to differ, I kind of just spoke when I needed to. In school I wasn't a loner, I had a good amount of friends, but I was sometimes viewed as the quiet guy who people thought they'd never see anything like this come out of. It's funny, because often times, people I haven't seen since High School always gave me that "You rap? What? No way..." I've always had a lot of doubters in my life. People telling me I can't do something because of where I'm from, and to just stop trying. So, in relief of that, the sense of "making it" was never really a goal of mine. I've just always wanted to create. I wanted to create something good, that would give people a feeling of enjoyment, and just that overall good feel created from quality music. At times I can be picky about my music, and not so submissive, but it's only because I strive for the best of my ability. My ear is very fine-tuned, so any beat you hear me over, usually has captured me in someway. I can seek inspiration from a blade of grass, my mind stays vivid. Really, music to me, is like a giant painting, and every lyric, every bar, is like a brush to stroke your final masterpiece to be put on display; judged by critics and to be praised or shunned. I've always had a passion for this, it's just who I am, feel it or not. I am not here to be better than anyone. but I am here to make a footprint in the cement. - Matic Touch
