Anywho. The past couple of days have been comedy, musical, and sad. RIP to Troy Davis. I’m not gonna get too deep into that, but we all know it wasn’t right. Mayweather won his last fight, and I’ll be sure to place a wager next time… Fab and Ray J had a little fall out and claimed niggas got “socked”. Ya’ll really don’t know how hard I laughed at this. Oh yeah…The iPhone 5 is “supposed” to be announced 10/4. When I grab that, my life will change. Literally change tho.
BUT AY THO……….. J. Cole’s album leaked. So it’s obviously better than The Carter IV. But yo….This album somehow made me yawn while listening. Real life yawn tho. The overall album tempo is too slow for my liking. This nigga J. Cole is a walking lullaby. 19 tracks of nothing but pure fire, mixed with a little bit of Benadryl. I wouldn’t dare throw this album on while I’m just sitting on my sectional watching SportsCenter. I’m bound to fall asleep fam. Other than its “itis” effect, the album is solid. I threw a extra .5 in the kush sack just because Cole produced half of the album. 4.5/5
First off. I have to give props to Jermaine. This album can easily hit home with a lot of listeners, and he spits every bar like he’s still suffering from the past. The production is absolutely incredible. He actually produced 15 of the 17 tracks himself. I AM IMPRESSED. I’m even gonna take that leap of faith and say it’s better than WTT…production wise.

Some of you may not know who Casey Veggies is, but he’s pretty much a little brother version of Dom Kennedy. There was some hype about dude, so I decided to check him out for the first time. His debut album “Sleeping In Class” is FIRE. No skips. I know Casey might not be on J. Cole’s level when it comes to lyrics, but his flow is nice and his beat selections are nice too. Yeah his rhymes seem to need a little bit more maturing, but the songs sound good. That’s really matters right? Right. And I can always relate to rappers that talk about taking females from some lame nigga. Female snatching is at an all time high. It’s proven. Don’t be a victim. But anyway, the album is pretty good and I’ve listened to it maybe 12 times since yesterday. Nice debut, and the CD gives a “mixtape” feel. Always a plus. I’m gonna give this album a 4/5.

WHEN IS TM103 DROPPING?!?! I feel like a real bag of scum just patiently waiting for this album to drop. Jeezy fell off? Hell no. I’m not sure what the hold up is, but I’m sure it’s for the better. I’m all for it. Jeezy has yet to drop a bad album. So why start now?
