A CASE OF THE MONDAYS - LABOR DAY THOUGHTS (5:11am)

So let me be clear with this weeks edition of "A Case Of The Mondays".  As far as I'm concerned, you're not really supposed to work on Labor day.  So I don't have to write this for you all, but I chose to because I fucks with y'all.
This week's case(s) may not be as interesting as previous weeks, but that's because there really wasn't much going on last week.  If you don't like Entourage, you might want to wait until next week to read this.

Dana Gordon or Melinda Clarke?
Seven episodes into Season 8 of HBO's Entourage and finally things are collectively turning around for Vince.  But while his humble ass continues to receive good karma, its hard to watch the downfall of Ari and Eric right now.  Ari has himself in a pickle with this whole divorce shit with his wife Melissa and its unfortunate that she has $11 million invested into Ari's company.  Otherwise, he wouldn't have to worry about shit and he coulda bounced on her ass and continued to bounce on Dana Gordon's ass.
She's a down ass bitch, foreal.  I didn't realize how underrated she was throughout the first seven seasons of Entourage, but now that she's getting a little more love during this season, we are seeing her significance in Ari's life.  Too bad Ari's love-bitten ass can't get over Melissa though.  Shit makes no sense; I've been looking for "Dana Gordon" for a minute.  A sexy ass, 40 year old, single, curvy, white female who is all about making power moves for Ari's biggest client, Vincent. But I guess pleasure and business doesn't mix.
E has gotten himself in a pretty fucked up situation though.  You let the baddest bitch walking through L.A. slip from your grasp, and now you're on the brink of letting your business falter because of your feelings towards Sloan.  Stop being a bitch E, there's money to get.  We all know Scott Lavin is a fucking douchebag, but you taking your anger out on him all the time doesn't do anything but make you look weak.  I mean, I can't blame you for fucking Sloan's stepmom...purebred fox.  She looks crazy seductive in all of her bed scenes.  I wouldn't mind at all.
But now you've double fucked up because for one, you will NEVER have a chance at fucking Sloan again. What a wasted opportunity.  And two, you got Sloan pregnant.  You can't get that pregnant yo, she is in her prime.  If you would have just signed that prenup, then things would have been smooth from there on out.  But nooooo, you didn't wanna look like a pussy by signing it.  But honestly, who cares bro.  This is Sloan you are fucking.
Vinnie, Johnny and Turtle are having a pretty solid season. It all seems a little suspect on how all of a sudden Johnny was able to get that CBS flick with Vinnie, but kudos to Drama.  And about time Turtle got some type of financial fruits because he's been grinding on his own for a while.  He kinda reminds me of myself when it comes to trying to do things on your own.  But you better be happy that you have yourself a hell of a friend in Vinnie because you were sick when you found out Avion Tequila went public without your stake.
The next episode will tell it all once it premieres in a couple of weeks on HBO, so make sure you all are tuned in.

Damn I had to lot to say on Entourage, I probably should have held that in until next week.  But fuck it, next subject.

Lets Talk Music

This Jeezy mixtape is hard as hell.  And this is coming from somebody who wasn't a fan of the first The Real Is Back  tape with DJ Drama.  But Jeezy has the people on their toes with this Thug Motivation 103  album.  Dude is always putting out tracks/mixtapes or having songs of his leak but nobody will EVER know which tracks will officially be on the album, do we?
TM:103  is gonna be one mysterious ass album. I would hate for it to be a compilation of leaks and cuts from previous mixtapes.  But then again, when has Jeezy ever failed us?
One person I do have concern for is J. Cole's debut album, which is set to drop on September 27th.  First off, we all know that shit is leaking next week at the latest.  This nigga has NO security whatsoever when it comes to protecting his music.  As soon as this guy drops an unfinished hook over a rough sample, it leaks.
While taking damn near four hours to reveal the official tracklisting to his album last Sunday evening, I noticed that half of the album sounded familiar.  And I hate to say it, but most of those leaks we're quite boring.  However, the latest single can get play from me, all day. Along with everybody else, I'll be waiting for Jermaine to change the game on Sept. 27th...or next week, like I said.

Anybody listened to Blu's NoYork  though?  You should do so.

There's no way Tha Carter IV  actually sold 900K first week because I don't know one person who has a physical copy of the album, or even an iTunes version.  Birdshitman may have a big ass crib but I don't know if it will have enough room to store all of the copies that he purchased.
Did any of you buy the album?  The people wanna know....

Sorry but I didn't listen to CyHi's new mixtape.  Until this guy lightens up on the punch lines, he doesn't get a chance.

The Dream is better than any R&B artist out here though.  Even the other side of Drake.  That 1977  album that Terius just dropped showed the singing world out here that their style all came from his.  And that's real.
The same way WTT  made a statement to the rap game.

Since it's Labor day, I think I'll clock out early on this week's "A Case Of The Mondays".  My fault, there just really isn't much on the noggin this early in the morning.  Until next week...
