#ACASEOFTHEMONDAYS - "TAKE CARE" OR TAKE COVER

My life is moving way too fast because it seems like I've been doing these "Case Of The Mondays' articles damn near everyday.  To be honest with you guys, I never find what exactly I want to write about until the day of.  Mainly because the most important thing of the weeks occurs on a Monday.  I'll get to that near the end.

J. Cole's Sideline > Rap Game
Of course I'm gonna lay my two cents out about this J. Cole album.  I'm gonna come at y'all from two sides on this; the fans and the real.
How could some of y'all be so unappreciative of such piece of work?  This dude just killed every other nigga who dropped a debut album over the past year, and with his own production at that.  What kind of nigga can drop an album with two and a half features (Jay-Z, Drake, a Missy Elliot *sample*) and legitimately make it sound as good as it is? Drake shouldn't even count as a feature due to the lone fact that the track he assisted on was originally on Friday Night Lights.  Trey Songz shouldn't even count because Cole could have sung that and made it sound the exact same.
And cut all those "storytelling" assumptions you all are throwing out there.  I've heard some of the most outrageous statements in the world pertaining J. Cole's "Sideline Story".
You wanna hear storytelling? Go listen to Teflon Don  and tell me that shit wasn't an absolute FIB.
Fuck outta here.  You niggas out here trippin', especially if you're thinking debuts like Finally Famous was better than that.
I could go for days defending the quality of this album, but numbers haven't even come out yet.  So I'll chill and let y'all throw "John" on repeat.

We Meet Again, Clifford...
This guy T.I. is back...yet again and I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I should give him another chance. No homs on this next reference. This is the same situation when your girlfriend is annoying as fuck and you wanna leave her, but the pootinani is too good...so you can't leave it.
Same exact situation with T.I.  This dude always makes hits, so it's be unfair to stop listening to him just because he makes foolish decisions.  I've been listening to Tip since those I'm Serious days.  "Fly to Miami, chill with Luke and we can trade freaks, I freak hoes, just peep hoes under shade trees."  Yeah, y'all not familiar with that shit, huh?
When Clifford went back in the pen for showing his stupid in L.A. last year, I vowed to myself that I wouldn't give this nigga less than a millisecond of support after that.  Coming from an actual fan's perspective, I was legitimately disappointed in this nigga.
But when it came down to it, I don't recall deleting any T.I. music from my hard drive, so how serious am I with all this boycott shit?
Not too serious, because I find myself awaiting this T.I. and Big K.R.I.T. track that he's supposed to be dropping shortly.
Oh, well.

Take Care or Take Cover
I am not a Drake hater by any means, so please don't misunderstand anything I say with this.  But I couldn't hold back the laughter after seeing this dude's album cover to Take Care.  This nigga be killing me with this depressed with money, money from depression shit.

This nigga look like he took this pic after seeing a family of ducks get hit by a car.
This nigga unicorn ran away before he took this pic.
This nigga took this pic after he found out they were gonna make his character on Degrassi a crippled.
This nigga took this when "they" said he fell off.
This nigga took this for a brochure to a gay Italian Bistro.
What does this dude have to be so sad looking for? Y'all say J. Cole be depressing with his shit...Drizzy be damn near making me feel bad for how sad he is with all this money around him.  I wish I was going through it, shit.

But the highlight to my Monday was definitely Pusha T's assault on Drake and Lil' Wayne over Drizzy's "Dreams Money Can Buy".
In a rap game where niggas is literally faking it until they make it, its only right that one of the few veterans in the game call out somebody that everybody tends to dick ride.  Let's be honest people; Drake has been subliminally dissing niggas in his raps since he thought his album dropped.  His mindset shifted into a whole new regime after he settled in with Young Money and killed the people with Thank Me Later.  But ever since then, this nigga has been acting hella fishy.  Twisting his fingers and what not. Eff all of that though.

LISTEN:

Pusha did exactly what niggas have been wanting to do for a while, and that is to put Drake in an uncomfortable situation.
I understand that Drake could simply say nothing and look like he's the big man, but he would turn out to be the bitch in this situation.  Reason I say bitch is because all Aubrey is going to do is resort back to the subliminal jabs over industry tracks to make it seem like he's the big talker.  But in reality, what could Drake say to Pusha?
He sells more albums and all, but if you're like me, then that doesn't matter to the big picture.
When you look at it, Pusha T was one half of The Clipse.  And yes, those were the same niggas who made "Grindin'".  And a whole bunch of other shit with The Neptunes that made your head nod.
I feel like if Drake made a diss to ANY artist, it would sound exactly like the same shit he makes regularly.  Always talking about rap friends betraying him, how he still has "his" spot, and how nobody's fucking with his team.
We get it...the same subliminal shit.  You see where I'm connecting the dots here?

And what a way to start off the track, Pusha.
The nerve of you, he’ll sit and clip at your lines like he ain’t heard of you…I seen it happen before, that man will murder you.
Atta boy.  Let these fools know that Jay-Z doesn't care about Weezy's antics.

I'm still waiting for this new T.I. track, so I don't wanna miss out on it by blogging.  So I'll rid myself and let y'all sleep on some of this shit I said. Alotta y'all hate my opinions, but the fact that you're still reading makes me do this.  But before I leave, just know that the Detroit Lions aren't for no games this year.  We're coming for you and those ribs, Romo.
Get that J. Cole album and support the same nigga that you're gonna end up supporting in a few years.  It's only right.
It's RTF Fan Appreciation Week(s), so hit the online shop and use the code TEAMRTF to get 20% off.  That's only right, also. More giveaways coming next week
R.I.P. Troy Davis.
