RIHANNA TO PERFORM AT ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS

Not exactly the venue you'd expect for the pop star, but Rihanna will be teaming up with country star Jennifer Nettles of the duet Sugarland to perform "California King Bed," her latest single off Loud, this Sunday at 8 p.m. on CBS. Rihanna's done her thing with the likes of Eminem and Maroon 5 in the past, but a cross-genre country collab like this doesn't happen often and is definitely something to look out for.
"California King Bed" has plenty of "Big Girls Don't Cry"-esque guitar to make a country rendition easy enough, and I doubt Nettles' big voice and soulful twang will have any trouble meshing with Rihanna when they take the stage together Sunday night.
