The DMV’s own @djEskada is set to release her highly anticipated mixtape No Intro Needed Monday, January 17, 2011. The new CD not only displays the major skills of this up and coming DJ, but it highlights the release of an array of the newest and hottest tracks. No Intro Needed Mixtape covers a wide variety of artists including but not limited to: Kanye West, Rick Ross, Travis Porter, and Wale. DJ Eskada independently mixed and promoted this mixtape, which is set to prove that she is talented and one to watch out for.

After the release and success of her last mixtape Lebrona, DJ Eskada was inspired to go back into the studio and create another successful compilation for her listeners.

DJ Eskada’s resume host being a premier female DJ performing at major events and college campuses all around the metropolitan area. She has continued to set herself apart by displaying her versatility through opening up at concert venues for artists such as Rick Ross, Wale, and J.Cole. DJ Eskada regularly spins at DC’s Night Clubs and is the official DJ for Howard University- WHBC, Black Cobain and Ashton Travis.

::DJ ESKADA BIOGRAPHY::

DJ Eskada was raised in Northern Virginia. She began her college career at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008 where she majored in Broadcast Journalism. After her second year at VCU she desired to move to a bigger city and pursue her dreams. Eskada decided that Howard University in Washington DC was a perfect fit. She is currently in first year at HU working for the WHBC college radio station and pursuing a degree in audio production.

DJ Eskada independently purchased her first pair of turntables the spring of 2009 despite not having any knowledge of djaying and or turntablism. She learned how to scratch, blend and mix through youtube, books, and the help of a friend DJ Tease. Consistent practice would land her, her first gig opening for IceBloc only 2months later at the Element Lounge in Richmond, VA.

Only a year later in 2010 she is evolving as a premier female DJ, performing at events and shows all over the DC metro area and college campuses. She has opened up for names like GS Boyz, Hurricane Chris, J.Cole and Wale. She currently serves as regular DJ at Love Night Club in Washington DC,she is an official DTLR DJ and the official DJ for Black Cobain and Ashton Travis.

As a graduate of John Casablanca Modeling School, former Miss Jr. Virginia, and 4 years of International Bachelorette level theater experience, DJ Eskada not only has the talent but is excited to branch out into even more avenues such as acting, radio personality, hosting and promotions.
