While Lil' Wayne will continue to serve his time at Rikers Island Prison, good news comes to Weezy fans worldwide about a new album that could be potentially dropping on September 27th. Wayne's co-manager, Cortez Bryant says that the album I'm Not A Human Being will be the prequel to the Carter IV and should be dropping on his birthday (Sept. 27).
This means that fans won't have to wait until Wayne's release to hear a new album. It was said that the release of the Carter IV would be put on hold until Weezy is out of prison. Bryant stated that we shouldn''t expect a lot of promotion or marketing, nor should we expect it to even put in stores. It will be a mixture of new and unheard Wayne music and it could possibly be a package deal with the Carter IV.
“We not about to roll out no three month set up,” says Bryant. “I’m not even putting it out in stores. We just gonna put it out virally and maybe package it up for Christmas. Give 'em a hard copy later for fan appreciation.”
Is that a sign that the Carter IV will be dropping sometime around Christmas? Hmmmmm....
