COACHELLA 2012: LIVE PERFORMANCES FT. CHILDISH GAMBINO, AZEALIA BANKS, A$AP ROCKY & MORE

Coachella has been the talk of the e-streets this weekend as the music/art festival has featured some of the game's hottest artists right now.  Personally, I couldn't see myself standing out there with that crowd unless I was directly up front or even backstage.  Unfortunately, I haven't reached that level to where I can get this access like these other "cool" blogs.  So for those who want to see how Coachella 2012 went down, peep some of the footage we have for you down below.  I will continue to update this post as more footage rolls in, but shoutout to X, Miss Info for providing some of these videos. Ima keep it so real with yall...I never fell in line with this dude's music, but apparently he's the man.  A lot of people fucks with him and he seems to be pulling the Kush & Orange Juice  with this mixtape that he's supposed to be dropping.  I've listened to homegirl and he hasn't quite convinced me yet.  If anybody could do some convincing for me, I would appreciate it...I don't wanna look like a bandwagoner if he turns out to be dope.  Back to the topic, the long awaited Thursday  mixtape is expected tomorrow, so stay tuned for a link within the next 24 hours.

No word on whether or not this will be off The Weeknd's upcoming mixtape, Thursday.  The Weeknd put Thursday's release on hold after Youtube took the "Rolling Stones" video down a while back, but it's back up now.  We can expect to get the mixtape soon!  XO.

NEWS: THE WEEKND DELAYS "THURSDAY" RELEASE BECAUSE OF YOUTUBE

If you haven't heard yet, Youtube took down another The Weeknd-related video (this one was actually posted by The Weeknd--not one of those "unofficial/official" music videos that other people made themselves and put up).  As all of the videos put on Youtube by The Weeknd, it was just an AUDIO with a picture for the recently released song "Rolling Stone."

As you can see above, The Weeknd said that the upcoming mixtape Thursday, which was supposed to be released "...sooner than [we] think" will not be released until Youtube puts the video back up.  Different videos with the audio put up by fans are still on Youtube, but the OFFICIAL audio put up by The Weeknd still isn't back up.  Start emailing the Vice President of Youtube folks!

AUDIO: THE WEEKND - "ROLLING STONE"

If you have, or haven't, heard about The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) but still don't really know what the buzz is about, it's probably because you still haven't heard his House of Balloons mixtape (yes, there are still people that tell me they have no clue who he his when I ask).

For those who have heard the mixtape and loved it, The Weeknd dropped "Rolling Stone" via Twitter yesterday.  We can expect two more mixtapes from him this year: Thursday, expected to drop "...sooner than [we] think," and Echoes of Silence, expected to drop this fall.  Until then enjoy "Rolling Stone" and hit the jump for some tracks he did a couple years back with a songwriting/production group known as "The Noise."

Also, if you want to see The Weeknd to perform live, he will be featured at Drake's second annual OVO Fest at the Molson Amphitheater in Toronto, Canada on July 31st along with Rick Ross and others.  Tickets go on sale June 3rd at 11am/EST on Ticketmaster.
