So for those who aren't aware, Drizzy Drake dropped off a new song last night entitled 'Dreams Can Buy Money' as a loosie. Pretty nice song if you ask me. But that was before I heard a veeerrryyy similar track from an up and comer named G-Eazy out of The Bay area.
Drake - Dreams Can Buy Money
He recently dropped of a song called 'Kingz' that basically features the same sample with a replicated tempo.
Before I get too deep into this, let me inform you all that G-Eazy has opened up for Drake SEVERAL times all through last year, so Drizzy has heard of G-Eazy as well as his flow. Many accuse Drake of mimicking Big Sean's 'Supa Dupa' flow, which in fact he admits to 'borrowing' the style.
So when I drew the conclusion that Drake actually took this 'Dreams Can Buy Money' track, I can't really act surprised due because of the whole Big Sean situation. It's just a shame that hard working artists who don't get shine for putting out dope music get overlooked because industry artists seem to be the ones 'doing the work'.
For example, when Big Sean made the XXL 2010 Freshmen cover, he was asked to drop a song on the Freshmen '10 mixtape. So he and KeY Wane dropped off '4 My People', which got a lot of approvals and head nods from aspiring fans. But only a few people realized that '4 My People' was a mimic of Detroit artist Treezen's song, 'Feel Like Im Important'.
Now click those two links and I DARE YOU to tell me that the track wasn't jacked.
In both cases, I understand that the lyrics weren't taken, but there's still a line to draw...
It never made any sense to me how some of these big names artists get so much love from the game, when most styles are either bitten, plagiarized and copied. So many rappers/singers you hear out here are living off of ghost writers and their fans are so mislead on the creativity that their favorite musician possesses. Crying shame that that's the case of some of today's artists.
It's just like how the big name blogs get credit for all of the content that was originally gathered by the small media companies. They take interviews, show footage, etc. from small time blogs that are actually out here grinding and put it on their site for everyone to see.
I could go for days on how the game is corrupted with shit like this, but I'll let you guys put your 25 cents in under the comment section.
The most deflating feeling in the world is seeing everybody giving credit to somebody else for something that you created. So my point to you all is to make sure you give these other unheard, hard working musicians a chance, because they may actually be responsible for the work from your favorite artist.
The Winners Circle duo is back at it again with another episode to the Winners Circle Lifestyle. This time, we get appearances from Stalley, Big Sean, our homies Zeno Jones and SAYITAINTTONE. Shoutout to Spocka and Lex!
First episode of Spitta and his Jet set's JET Life Tour. Basically consisting of the shit me and my bros do on the daily. The bigger note is that Covert Coup is available now!
I don't ever post covers, but I had to show love on this one. Amy & Nick (@KarminMusic) are a little duo that are known for doing covers over industry tracks and if you've listened to them, they're nowhere NEAR the term 'bad'. My boy Spencer sent me their most recent one over Chris Brown's collaborative single with Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne, 'Look At me Now'.
Amy KILLS Busta Rhymes' part. The main reason why I gave this video a chance is to see how she would sound, but they both did this cover to perfection. Amazing.
Yesterday, we gave you a look at the new Lamborghini Aventador with detailed photos of the premiere sports car. Today, we have a look at another premiere sports vehicle that may give that Lambo some competition. Introducing the Aston Martin Virage.
“The Virage sits between the enduringly elegant DB9 and overtly sporting DBS, providing customers with a car that remains luxurious and understated but delivers increased performance and crucially performance that is always accessible for effortless driving.
Aston Martin’s revered hand-built 6.0 litre V12 engine produces 490 bhp (365 kW/497 PS) and 570 Nm (420 lb ft) of torque and through its carbon fibre prop shaft, is mated to a six-speed Touchtronic II automatic transmission mounted on the transaxle contributing to perfect 50:50 weight balance.”
Hit the jump for more looks into the Aston Martin.
Lamborghini has presented their newest model of the popular sports car at the recent Geneva Auto Show, and I must say that it's something ridiculous. The reconstructed look of the new Aventador LP700-4 Lambo features a 691 horsepower v12 engine along with a new a carbon fiber passenger area. This is expected to be one of the 'super cars' that we've drew up in our imaginations years ago as a part of the future.
Big bucks are needed to take drive of with this though. The Lamborghini Aventador is going to be selling around $370,000...

Rihanna has split with her beau of almost a year, Matt Kemp. USWeekly quotes a source saying the reason for the breakup was the singer's "crazy travel schedule.""Matt's sick of always following after her like a puppy dog all over the world," the source told the magazine. "He wants something more normal."Kemp, an outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers, began dating the 22-year-old after her disastrous and very public relationship with Chris Brown, that ended with his infamous assault on her in 2008. In comparison, Rihanna called her relationship with Kemp "so easy" and "my peace."
Apparently, the breakup wasn't so difficult either. "It was never as serious as it looked," the source added. "It was always just [about] having fun." Plus, Rihanna "basically was just over it."
*I post this because now the beautiful Rihanna is back on the market fellas, and ladies if your feeling the LA Dodgers ball player he is as well single and ready to settle down.

Know what that is? of course you do anybody under the age of 70 knows that there is a usb drive sticking out of that brick wall. This is a new project headed by Aram Bartholl. It's real life offline peer to peer file sharing. The idea is that you drop files into random file sharing devices around the city of NYC and other people do the same. My question is, What happens when some doucher throws in a virus?
Aram was nice enough to give you the address and a map to each USB drive if your in New York give it a try!
